New country director of Nokia Siemens Networks Bangladesh

Khaled Shams has been appointed country director of Nokia Siemens Networks Bangladesh.brHis appointment came into effect on September 1, 2008, said a press release.brKhaled has more than 16 years' experience in the telecom industry. brHe served the Siemens Communications Group for more than 14 years and was the head of Communications Division at Siemens Bangladesh prior to formation of Nokia Siemens Networks Bangladesh.brMr Khaled was also a director of the Bangladesh Cable Shilpa Sangstha (a former joint venture of Siemens Communications and Bangladesh government) and the Telephone Shilpa Sangstha Limited (a former joint venture of Nokia Siemens Networks and Bangladesh government).brMr Khaled is an electrical engineer with a Masters in Business Administration (MBA) from the Dhaka University, the release added.
