New DMD of BDBL

Ms Karabi Mujib has recently joined Bangladesh Development Bank Ltd (BDBL) as deputy managing director (DMD), said a press release.
Prior to joining the new assignment she was general manager of Ansar-VDP Development Bank.
Ms Karabi obtained her Master's degree with honours in Economics from Chittagong University and MBA from IBA, Dhaka University.
She started her banking career in 1980 as an investment officer with Investment Corporation of Bangladesh (ICB). During her 30 years banking career, she discharged various important assignments in ICB, Sonali Bank Ltd and Ansar-VDP Development Bank.
Ms Karabi participated in various important training courses both at home and abroad, the release added.
