New DMDs of National Bank

Shamsul Huda Khan, AKM Shafiqur Rahman and Nazib Uddin Bhuiyan have recently been promoted to the post of deputy managing directors (DMDs) of National Bank Limited (NBL), according to a press release.
Shamsul Huda Khan
Prior to his new assignment, Mr Huda had been discharging his duties as senior executive vice-president (SEVP) and head of International Division of the bank.
He has been serving in NBL since 1985 after joining as a senior officer.
Mr Huda had successfully discharged his assignments, when posted at various positions of the bank at home and abroad.
He started his banking career in Pubali Bank Limited as probationary officer in 1980, where he served as branch manager in Dhaka city.
AKM Shafiqur Rahman
Before his promotion as DMD, Mr Rahman had been discharging his duties as SEVP and company secretary of NBL.
Mr Rahman started his career as probationary officer in Bangladesh Krishi Bank in 1974, and worked as head of different branches and divisions there up to 1987. He joined National Bank Limited in 1988.
He held different positions and worked in various capacities in the bank.
During his long banking career, Mr Rahman took part in different training courses and seminars at home and abroad.
Nazib Uddin Bhuiyan
Mr Bhuiyan joined NBL as probationary officer in 1983.
He served in the diverse areas of branches and head office of the bank.
National Bank pioneered to begin credit cards in 1997 and he acted as a leader to introduce such a new service in the country.
He successfully received vast training on credit cards and banking services at home and abroad.
