New DMDs of Pubali Bank

The board of directors of Pubali Bank Limited has recently appointed Mahbub Mustafizur Rahman, MA Halim Chowdhury and Safiul Alam Khan Chowdhury as deputy managing directors (DMDs) of the bank, said a press release.
Prior to this appointment, Mahbub Mustafizur Rahman was the general manager of Credit Division of the bank. He was promoted as general manager in 2004.
He joined Pubali Bank as financial analyst in the rank of assistant general manager in 1994. Mustafiz obtained his MBA degree from IBA, Dhaka University.
He visited Indonesia, Malaysia, Singapore, Thailand, Nepal, UK, USA for training and other official duty.
Prior to this appointment MA Halim Chowdhury was general manager of Credit Division of the bank. He was promoted as general manager in 2006.
He joined Pubali Bank as principal officer in 1988. He obtained BSc (Hons) and MSc degree in Science from Chittagong University.
He was branch manager in Dhaka and Sylhet region including Foreign Exchange Corporate Branch, BB Avenue Corporate Branch and also served as regional head of Dhaka Central Region.
He travelled USA, Malaysia, Saudi Arabia, Bahrain, India and Hong Kong for attending different international seminar and training.
Prior to this appointment, Safiul Alam Khan Chowdhury was general manager of General Services and Development Division of the bank. He was promoted as general manager in 2006.
He joined the Pubali Bank as probationary senior officer in 1983 through Bangladesh Bank. He obtained BSS (Hons) and MSS degree in Sociology from Dhaka University.
He was branch manager in Dhaka and Chittagong region including Motijheel Corporate Branch and also served as regional head of Dhaka North Region.
He travelled India, Malaysia, Singapore and Thailand for attending different international seminar and training.
