New EC, audit committee chairmen of SIBL

Abdul Awal Patwary and Kamaluddin Ahmed have been elected executive committee (EC) chairmen of Social Islami Bank Limited (SIBL) in its 215th board of directors meeting held recently.
The meeting has also elected Maj (rtd) Dr Rezaul Haque as chairman of the board audit committee for the next tenure, SIBL office said.
Abdul Awal Patwary is the chairman of Patwary Group of Companies, Patwary Cold Storage Ltd, Patwary Potato Flakes Ltd, Greentech Green House Bangladesh Ltd and managing director of Foysal Shipping Complex Ltd.
Kamaluddin Ahmed is the chairman of Alif Group of Companies, proprietor of Alif Commodities House, Sonali Trading Corporation, Union Fisheries and director of Greentech Green House Bangladesh Ltd. He is also a director of FBCCI.
