New EPB vice-chair takes over

FE ReportMujibur Rahman Howlader, an additional secretary to the government of Bangladesh, assumed responsibilities of the Export Promotion Bureau (EPB) as its vice-chairman on October 25, 2011, said a statement. As per charter of duties Mr Howlader would be responsible for the overall leadership of EPB. According to the statement, a talented officer of Bangladesh civil service (administration) Mr Hawlader has already served the country for more than twenty eight years in a variety of executive and leadership positions of different ministries, departments and attached offices as well as Bangladesh missions abroad. The statement said that a man of optimism and positive thought Mr Muzibur Rahman Howlader foresees excellent performance of the country's export sector through drastic and desperate public-private coordinated efforts.
