New Islamic Foundation DG appointed

The government has appointed Muhammad Muhibbullahil Baki, an Islamic scholor and mufti, as the new director general (DG) of Islamic Foundation Bangladesh (IFB).
An IFB statement said on Tuesday Baki joined as its DG in line with a May 21 notification assigning him as the chief of the office with grade-1 status, equivalent to a secretary to the government.
"He took over the charge at 3:00 PM today," the IFB statement said.
