New Japanese volunteers arrive

A two-member Japan Overseas Cooperation Volunteers (JOCV) arrived Sunday in the country in the field of health and sports under technical cooperation programme of JICA. They will provide training to the Bangladeshi people in the respective areas.
Ms Oka, JOCV (Health) will be working as programme officer under Director General of Health Services of health ministry. She will coordinate six JOCV engaged under Save Motherhood Promotion Project (SMPP) in three districts: Narshingdi, Satkhira and Jessore collaborating local community, health staff and Union Parishad Chairmen and members, says a JICA statement.
Mr Ono, JOCV (Tennis) will be working at BKSP to develop the technique and skills of learning players.
