Mr Fariduddin Khan Siddiqui has recently joined Global Insurance Limited as its managing director (MD), said a press release.
Prior to joining the insurance company, he was the MD of Phoenix Insurance Company Limited.
He started his career in insurance with Bangladesh General Insurance Company Limited.
Mr Siddiqui served as zonal in-charge of Reliance Insurance Company and also worked with Karnaphuli Insurance Company as additional managing director.
He is a guest lecturer in different institutions and organisations.
He visited more than 26 countries of the world for personal and professional purposes.
Mr Siddiqui obtained his Master's Degree in Economics from Chittagong University.
He is involved with various socio-cultural and professional organisations.
He is a permanent member of Chittagong Club, life member of Bhatiary Golf Club in Chittagong and members of Bangladesh Economic Society and Rotary Club of Islamabad.
