New MD of HFCL

Md. Tawhidul Islam has been appointed as the Managing Director of Hajj Finance Company Limited (HFCL), said a press release. Tawhidul Islam is Post Graduate (Physics) from the Rajshahi University and a Diplomaed Associate of Institute of Banker's Bangladesh. He started his Banking profession in 1973 as a Probationary Officer of Agarani Bank Limited. In his 38 yeas of banking career- he has served AB Bank Limited for 23. He retired from AB Bank Limited as Executive Vice President and joined HFCL in 2007 as the Deputy Managing Director. In the career augmentation process, Mr. Islam has served many vital Departments of Banks and NBFI covering Credit, Forex and leaded the Principal Branch of AB Bank limited as the Manager of the branch. He is widely traveled person and has received various local and foreign training on Banking.
