New MD of Nitol Insurance

Mr SM Mahbubul Karim has been promoted to the post of managing director (MD) of Nitol Insurance Company Limited, said a press release.
Mr Karim started his insurance career by joining the United Insurance Co. Ltd. in 1986.
He joined the Nitol Insurance in 2000. Prior to taking the charge of MD, he served the company in various capacities including the post of company secretary since 2006.
Mr Karim attended a number of trainings and seminars on insurance and re insurance at home and abroad.
