New office bearers of ANUB

The 5th general meeting of the Association of Non-government Universities of Bangladesh (ANUB) was held at BRAC Centre in the city recently. CM Shafi Sami, chairman of the association, presided over the meeting.
In the meeting, a 10-member executive committee of ANUB was elected with Sheikh Kabir Hossain, chairman of Fareast International University, as its chairman for a two-year term 2013 2015.
The other members of the executive committee are: vice-chairman Prof Dr Abdul Mannan Choudhury, chairman of BOT, World Universities of Bangladesh, Secretary General  Benajir Ahmed, Treasurer of BOT, North South University, Treasurer   KBM Moinuddin Chisty, President of Victoria University of Bangladesh and Executive members Md Sabur Khan, Chairman of BOT, Daffodil International University, CM Shafi Sami, member of BOT, University of Asia Pacific, Dr Kazi Anis Ahmed, vice-president of BOT, University of Liberal Arts Bangladesh, Kazi Rafiqul Alam, chairman of BOT, Ahsanullah University of Science and Technology, Jalaluddin Ahmed, member of BOT, East West University and Ahsanul Islam Titu and member of  BOT, City University.
