New office-bearers of BACI EC

The names of the newly elected members of the executive committee (EC) of Bangladesh Association of Construction Industry (BACI), comprising twelve members including the president and the vice president, were announced at its 13th annual general meeting (AGM) held at a city hotel Saturday.
Engineer K Rahmatullah, chairman of BACI's election board, announced the names of the members of the newly elected executive committee (EC).
A large number of members and guests attended the AGM, said a press release.
BACI president Engineer Syed Mosharraf Hossain presided over the AGM.
The members present in the AGM discussed the organisational, management and promotional issues relating to the development of the construction sector.
The members of the EC are Md Rafiqul Islam, managing director (MD) of GBB Ltd, president, Shafiqul Alam Bhuiyan, MD of Masood and Co Ltd, vice president, and members Aminul Islam, MD of Project Builders Ltd, Mir Zahir Hossain, MD of Mir Akhter Hossain Ltd, Md Atiqur Rahman, MD of The Civil Engineers Ltd, Md Maqsudul Huq S Masood, MD of Masood and Co Ltd, Shafiqul Haque Talukder, MD of Starlite Services Ltd, Md Khairul Alam, MD of Ideal Builders and Engineers Ltd, Badrul Hasan Khan, director of Bengal Development Corporation Ltd, Nasir Mahmood, MD of Mahmood Builders and Associates Ltd, SM Abdul Mannan, MD of Techno Foki (BD) Ltd, and SM Khorshed Alam, MD of Dienco Ltd.
Engr Nazrul Islarn, BACI vice president, conveyed vote of thanks to all present in the AGM.
