New office-bearers of BKB Officers' Welfare Assoc

Md Aminul Bahar and Md Assaduzzaman Khan have recently been elected president and general secretary of Bangladesh Krishi Bank Officers' Welfare Association (BKBOWA) respectively.
The election was held at Krishi Bank Bhaban in the city recently, according to a press release
Two contesting panels took part for election to 33 posts of the executive committee on the basis of general franchise. In the election Bahar Sohrab Assad panel won 31 posts including president, working president, vice president, general secretary and all the secretarial posts.
Two executive members came out successful from Mahbub Shahid Jahangir panel.
The other office-bearers are: working president Md Sohrab Hossain Mia, vice presidents Md Abdul Hamid and Md Jahid Hossain, additional general secretary Md Firoz Alam Chowdhury, joint secretaries Waheed Murad and Md Zakir Hossain Bhuiyan, organising secretary Md Jasim Uddin, finance secretary Md Zakir Hossain, office secretary Md Riadh Ali, publicity secretary Abul Kalam Azad, literary secretary Mirza AHM Iqbal Hossain Chowdhury, cultural secretary Md Abu Hossain, sports secretary SM Wahidul Alam, social welfare secretary Md Rafiqul Islam and women affairs secretary Selina Khanam.
Executive members are Abdullah Al Mamun, Md Abdus Salam, Md Obaid Ullah, Md Kamruzzaman, Gonesh Chandra Biswas, Jashmat Ali, Md Jasim Uddin, Md Nurul Azad, Poresh Chandra Sarkar, Belayet Ali Shah, Md Matiur Rahman, Md Monir Hossain, AHM Mahbubul Alam, Ratan Kumar Dutta, Md Selim Khan and_Shahidul Alam.
