New office-bearers of ICAB DRC

Mr Harun-or-Rashid and Mr Netai Chand Talukdar have been elected chairman and secretary respectively of the Dhaka Regional Committee (DRC) of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Bangladesh (ICAB) for the year 2009.
They were elected at the 29th annual general meeting of the institute held in the city recently, said a press release.
Outgoing chairman of the DRC Zabed Ali Mridha presided over the meeting which was attended by a large number of DRC members.
President of the ICAB Mr Nasir Uddin Ahmed and other office-bearers of the institute were present at the meeting.
The financial statements of the DRC for the year that ended on June 30, '08 was discussed and adopted in the meeting, the release added.
