New office hours during Ramadan

The government re-fixed Monday the office hours of government, semi-government, autonomous and semi-autonomous organisations during the upcoming holy month of Ramadan from 9:00 am to 3:30 pm. There will be a 15- minute prayer break from 1:15 pm-1:30 pm. . The decision was taken at the regular weekly cabinet meeting at Bangladesh Secretariat presided over by Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina. Institutions and organisations like banks, insurance, financial institutions, postal department, hospitals, state-owned enterprises and emergency service providers could fix their office hours at their convenience. — FE Report
