New premise of BRAC Bank opens

Sir Fazle Hasan Abed, Founder Chairman of BRAC Bank and Chairperson of BRAC, in a courtesy visit to the bank formally inaugurated Annex Building of the bank's Head Office Sunday at Tejgaon in the city. His visit coincides with 10th anniversary of the bank - an institution he founded with the philosophy of serving small and medium entrepreneurs of the country, said a press release. Originally founded on a small 3-storey premise, BRAC Bank's Head Office today has over 170,000 square feet together with this new premise. About 2,000 employees work at different functions at the Head Office, a force that has taken this youngest bank into being one of the top in the country.
