New president, vice-president and members of BEF committee

Kamran T Rahman, a leading entrepreneur, has been elected as the new President of Bangladesh Employers' Federation (BEF) for the two years -- 2007-2009, says a BEF press release.
Rahman has investments in jute and tea. He is also the Chairman of Bangladesh Jute Mills Association (BJMA). Earlier, he was the Vice-President of the Federation.
Meanwhile, Alamgir M Z Rahman, a major exporter of ready-made garments (RMG), has been elected as the new Vice-President of the BEF for the two years, 2007-2009. He was earlier the Vice-President of Bangladesh Garment Manufacturers and Exporters Association (BGMEA).
