New TOAB committee takes over

The newly elected office-bearers of the Tour Operators Association of Bangladesh (TOAB) for the tenure 2024-26 officially took charge of the association.
The TOAB Board of Directors led by its President Md. Rafeuzzaman formally took charge from the Immediate Past President Shiblul Azam Koreshi after the Oath Taking Ceremony held in the capital on Sunday, says a press release.
Minister for Civil Aviation and Tourism Muhammad Faruk Khan attended the event as the chief guest. Justice Dr. Md. Abu Tariq was present as the guest of honour and administered the oath. Addl IGP of Bangladesh Tourist Police Mir Rezaul Alam joined the event as a special guest.
TOAB's 1st vice president Abul Kalam Azad, Vice President Md. Anwar Hossain, Director (Finance) Md. Nooruzzaman Sumon, Director (Accounts) Md. Saiful Islam, Director (International Affairs) Md. Mansur Alam Parvez, Director (Media & Public-Relation) Md. Younus, Director (Trade & Fair) Md. Taslim Amin, Director (Legal Affairs) Abul Faisal Md. Sayeem, Director (Printing & Publication) S. M. Billal Hossain Sumon, Director (Training & Research) Mohammad Moniruzzaman, Director (Information Technology) Zahir Ahmed Helal, Director (Culture & Sports) Md. Ibrahim Khalil Noman, Director (Member and Human Welfare) Mohammad Hossen Fahim, Director (Property and Assets) Ziaur Rahman Zakir and other Directors Md. Shahed Ullah, Didarul Absar, Jahirul Kabir Chowdhury (Shiru), Sabbir Ahmed and Md. Nasir Uddin, were also present.
The Biennial Election to TOAB for 2024-2026 was held on June 1 at the Parjatan Bhaban in Dhaka.
