New US envoy meets Pankaj

Newly appointed US Ambassador in Dhaka Marcia Stephens Bloom Bernicat met on Wednesday Indian High Commissioner Pankaj Saran, reports UNB.
Confirming the matter, a diplomat who wished not to be quoted said that it was just a 'courtesy meeting' and could not say anything about the content of the meeting.
The meeting was held at the Indian High Commission in the morning. Bernicat submitted her credentials to President Abdul Hamid in the afternoon.
