New York State Assembly honours FBCCI president

New York State Assembly has honoured FBCCI President Md Jashim Uddin for his dedication to the betterment of the society.
He received the honour at an event named 'Celebrating 50 Years of US-Bangladesh Relations' held in New York, USA on Saturday last.
Foreign Minister Dr. A. K Abdul Momen was present at the event as chief guest.
The president of the Federation of Bangladesh Chambers of Commerce and Industry (FBCCI) said this event will open doors for taking Bangladesh and USA relationship to a newer height.
He urged the 3rd and 4th generation Bangladeshis living in the USA to help Bangladesh's businesses enter the mainstream market of the USA.
Mr. Jashim is the very first Bangladeshi business leader, honoured by the Assembly for his exemplary services to career, community and families through his endless dedication for the betterment of society.
Dr. Mohammad Monirul Islam, Consul General of Bangladesh in New York, Dr. Atiur Rahman, former governor of Bangladesh Bank, Ms. Soma Syed, Judge, NYC Court also attended the event.
