Newly recruited police officers urged to serve people with sincerity

Inspector General of Police (IGP) Hasan Mahmud Khandker urged the newly recruited police officers to build them as members of a professional force through attaining proper training as well as acquiring knowledge to fulfil the expectation of people, reports UNB.
The IGP made the call Thursday while addressing a three-day orientation course at the police headquarters for the newly recruited Assistant Superintendents of police (ASPs).
He asked them to work as members of a professional force with sincerity to maintain security in public life.
A total of 152 ASPs of 33rd BCS (Police) Cadre batch and 11 ASPs of 31st BCS (Police) Cadre batch have been attending the orientation course.
