BMBA holds seminar tomorrow
Bangladesh Merchant Bankers Association (BMBA) will hold a seminar in the capital tomorrow (Thursday) to create awareness among the retail investors about the primary market. The association organised the seminar as part of observing the World Investors Week 2018 jointly with the investors of the capital market. Dr. Swapan Kumar Bala, FCMA, Commissioner of Bangladesh Securities and Exchange Commission (BSEC), will grace the occasion as chief guest.

NCR rates H.R. Textile 'A+'
National Credit Ratings Limited (NCR) has announced the surveillance rating of H.R. Textile Mills Ltd. as "A+" in the long term and "ST-2" in the short term along with a stable outlook based on audited financial statements of the company up to June 30, 2017.
Quarterly IPO addition in DSEX
In accordance with the DSE Bangladesh Index Methodology, designed and developed by S&P Dow Jones Indices (SPDJI) and thorough supervision by Index Committee of DSE, Bashundhara Paper Mills Limited (BPML) has been qualified as an eligible constituent for inclusion in DSEX in October 2018 for interim IPO additions effective from October 21, 2018.
