Community Bank inks deal with BB on CIB Online System
Community Bank Bangladesh Limited signed an agreement with Credit Information Bureau, Bangladesh Bank (BB) for registration in CIB Online System recently. Mansura Parvin, General Manager, CIB, Bangladesh Bank and Masihul Huq Chowdhury, Managing Director & CEO, Community Bank signed the agreement on behalf of their respective organisations. Through this agreement Community Bank has been registered with CIB, BB and will get access to online credit Information of the borrowers of Bangladesh which will help the Bank to assess credit risk information such as understanding repayment behavior, credit history, exposure, etc. of the borrower towards selection of good borrower. — Statement

GRI, DSE hold workshop
Netherlands based Global Reporting Initiative (GRI) and Dhaka Stock Exchange (DSE) on Wednesday held a workshop titled 'Technical Series Preparing a Sustainable Report' in a city hotel. DSE director Minhaz Mannan Emon attended the workshop as chief guest, while DSE managing director (in-charge) Abdul Matin Patwary, DSE company secretary Mohammad Asadur Rahman, and senior official of GRI Miss Rubina Sen were present at the programme. — FE Report
