Mr. Mohammed Younus and Mr. Md. Abdul Barek were elected as vice-chairmen of the Board of Directors of Shahjalal Islami Bank Limited (SJIBL) recently. Mr. Mohammed Younus owns papers, fabrics and cold storage companies. He is also Director of NTV, a leading private TV channel. Mr. Md. Abdul Barek is a sponsor shareholder of Shahjalal Islami Bank Ltd. and Shahjalal Islami Bank Securities Limited. He owns electronics businesses. Mr. Md.
