Midland Bank gets new chair, vice chair
Mrs. Nilufer Zafarullah, MP has been elected chairman and Master Abul Kashem vice chairman of Midland Bank Limited. Mrs. Nilufer was the vice chairman of the bank since 2013. She is a member of 10th parliament. An Architect by profession, Mrs. Zafarullah contributed to education and development for over 25 years. Master Abul Kashem is a sponsor director of Midland Bank. He has over 26 years of experience in the iron & steel industry. He became the highest taxpayer in Chittagong district for four times - three consecutive years in 2009, 2010 & 2011 and recently for the year of 2016. — Statement

Md. Sirajul Hoque

New DMD of SIBL
Mr. Md. Sirajul Hoque recently joined Social Islami Bank Limited (SIBL) as Deputy Managing Director (DMD). Earlier, he was the Senior Executive Vice President and head of Islami Banking Division and SME & Specialized Credit Department of Dhaka Bank Ltd. Mr. Hoque is a Post Graduate in Accounting from the University of Chittagong. — Statement
