More 37 cos disclose Q2 EPS
A total of 37 listed companies disclosed their un-audited second quarter (Q2) earnings for October-December period of 2017, according to separate official disclosure on Tuesday. Of them, earnings per share (EPS) of 19 companies declined while 18 increased in October-December quarter of 2017 compared to the same quarter in the previous year. The companies whose EPS increased are: Square Pharmaceuticals, AFC Ago Biotech, ACME Laboratories, Shinepukur Ceramics, Kay & Que, Malek Spinning, Nurani Dayeing, Nahee Aluminum, Meghna Petroleum, Beximco, Standard Ceramic, Bangladesh Steel Re-rolling Mills, Shepherd Industries, Aamra Networks, Aamra Technologies, Unique Hotel & Resorts, Aftab Autos and GPH Ispat.— FE Report

BRAC Bank wins ICMAB Best Corporate Award 2016
The Institute of Cost & Management Accountants of Bangladesh has awarded BRAC Bank Limited the First Position in the Private Commercial Bank Category at the "ICMAB Best Corporate Awards 2016". Finance Minister Mr. A. M. A. Muhith, MP formally handed over the award to BRAC Bank's Managing Director & CEO Mr. Selim R. F.
