First JS session to continue until Mar 11
The first session of the 11th JS that started on January 30 will continue until March 11. The decision came from a meeting of the Business Advisory Committee of the current parliament held at Jatiya Sangsad on Monday. Committee chairman and Speaker Dr Shirin Sharmin Chaudhury presided over the meeting. — UNB
HC orders to close N’ganj OC over Yaba connection
The High Court (HC) ordered on Monday authorities concerned to close officer-in-charge (OC) of Sadar Police Station in Narayanganj over his alleged link to Yaba smuggling. A High Court division bench comprising Justice M Enayetur Rahim and Justice Md Mostafizur Rahman passed the order on Monday morning. — BSS
