450 metres of Padma Bridge now visible
MUNSHIGANJ, Mar 11: The third span (superstructure) of the much-hyped Padma Bridge was installed between pillars 39 and 40 on Sunday morning. With the installation of the third span around 8:30am, a portion of 450 metres of the Padma Bridge is now visible, said the engineers concerned. The installation process of the 150-metre span started at 7:30am. The floating crane carrying the span, weighing 3,140 tonnes, reached near the pillars on Saturday

BB launches mobile app to receive complaints
Financial Integrity and Customer Services Department (FICSD) of Bangladesh Bank (BB) Sunday introduced mobile app to ease the procedure of filing complaints by clients. BB governor Fazle Kabir launched the app during the unveiling ceremony of FICSD's annual report for fiscal 2016-17 at ANM Hamidullah conference room in the BB headquarters. From now on, people can file complaints using the app alongside the existing system. The report showed that FICSD received a total of 3,521 complaints during
