Three die in clash over land dispute in Lalmonirhat
LALMONIRHAT, Nov 13: At least three people were killed and seven others injured in a clash over a land-related dispute at Gilabari in Aditmari upazila on Tuesday morning. The deceased were Jalil Miah, 50, son of Jalal Miah, Golam Rabbani, 45, son of Abdur Gafur, and Sahidur Rahman, son of Asir Uddin of Gilabari village. There had been a long standing dispute between Khalek Munshi and Jalil Miah over the ownership of a piece

The premiere of a documentary titled 'Hasina-A Daughter's Tale' made on the life and works of Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina, will be held at the Star Cineplex of Basundhara City in the city tomorrow (Thursday). The docudrama will be released at four cinemas - Star Cineplex, Blockbuster Cinemas at Jamuna Future Park, Madhumita Cinema at Motijheel in the capital and Silver Screen in Chattogram - on November 16. — BSS
