ACC summons 12 AB Bank high-ups
The Anti-Corruption Commission (ACC) on Monday summoned 12 members of the Board of Directors, including former chairman Wahidul Haque, of AB Bank for interrogation over the alleged embezzlement of around Tk 3.84 billion. A notice asked them to appear before the ACC on October 01, 02 and 03. — UNB
Police recover two bodies from Buriganga
KERANIGANJ, Sept 17: Police recovered bodies of two unidentified young men from the Buriganga River in the Telghat area on Monday. Local people spotted the bodies, aged about 20 and 25, and informed police about it. — UNB
