Coaching centres to be closed from Jan 27 for SSC exams
Education Minister Dipu Moni said coaching centres must be closed from January 27, a week before the start of the Secondary School Certificate (SSC) exams until the tests come to an end. She made the announcement to reporters following a meeting of the National Monitoring and Law and Order Committee on the exams at the Secretariat on Sunday. The SSC theory examinations are to be held from February 02 to February 25. — bdnews24.com
Three of a family die in Natore road accident
NATORE, Jan 20: Three members of a family were killed when a truck rammed a motorbike at Bashbaria in Bagatipara upazila on Sunday. The deceased were identified as Khaledur Rahman, his wife Sonia and there six-year-old daughter Tashfi. Police said the accident took place when a sand-laden truck hit a motorbike carrying three people, leaving the trio dead on the spot. — UNB
