Tk 21.7m foreign currency haul at Sylhet airport
SYLHET, May 23: Civil Aviation Authority Bangladesh (CAAB) members arrested a man along with foreign currencies worth Tk 21.7 million at the MAG Osmani International Airport on Wednesday noon. The arrestee was identified as Misbah Uddin, 52, of Kapasia upazila in Gazipur district. Misbah came to the airport around 3.00pm for going to Dubai by a flydubai flight. The foreign currencies were detected scanning his luggage, said Enamul Haque, Customs Officer at the airport. — UNB
