Two die in 'gunfight' in Jashore
Police said they recovered bodies of two unidentified men who were killed in a 'gunfight' between two gangs of criminals in Jashore's Monirampur Upazila. The gunfight took place on the Jashore-Monirampur road in the Begaritola- Chhatiantola marshland area around 5:00am on Sunday. The dead were aged between 30 and 32 years. Police said they conducted an operation in the area after a 'gunfight' between two groups of criminals was reported.

Erdogan leads in early polls results
Turkey's President Recep Tayyip Erdogan is ahead in the presidential election with a fifth of votes counted, state media report. Mr Erdogan has 59 per cent, and his closest rival, Muharrem Ince, is on 27 per cent. If Mr Erdogan wins more than 50 per cent of the overall vote, he will be declared the winner and avoid the need for a second round of voting.
