Road crash kills five in Ctg
CHATTOGRAM, Sept 25: Five people were killed on Tuesday as a truck rammed into a CNG-run autorickshaw in Jorarganj area under Mirsarai upazila on Chattogram-Dhaka Highway. The deceased were identified as auto-rickshaw drivers Shah Alam (40), Didarul Alam (35), Kamrul (45) and Mosharraf (26) and passenger Mohiuddin (60). The accident occurred at an autorickshaw stand in Thakur Dighir Par area around 6:00am, said Tipu, Sub-Inspector of Jorarganj Highway Police Station. — Our Correspondent

Bus services from Mohakhali resume after five hours
Long-route bus services from Mohakhali terminal in the capital resumed after five hours of suspension on Tuesday. Transport workers suspended the service at around 6.00 am, protesting the assault on a fellow driver. No long-route bus left the terminal in the morning. Later, the service resumed at around 11.00 am, following a fruitful meeting between police officials and leaders of transport workers.
