Minister asks Biman to lay off elderly staffers
Civil Aviation and Tourism Minister AKM Shajahan Kamal has come up with a solution to the problems at Biman Bangladesh Airlines - lay off elderly employees. "There are many elderly employees who do not have the ability to work anymore at Biman. Dismiss them with honour and appoint young and energetic people," the minister told a programme at the Dhaka Reporters Unity on Tuesday. — bdnews24.com
