N\\\'ganj 7-murder: Jail authorities show-caused

The court hearing the Narayanganj 7-murder case has issued a show cause notice to jail authorities for not producing before it former RAB-11 commander Tareque Sayeed on Monday. Senior Judicial Magistrate KM Mohiuddin sought explanation from the authorities as to why the arrestee was not brought to the court along with others. Twenty one among the 24 arrested in the murder case were produced before the judge, court police inspector Md Habibur Rahman said. ‘The magistrate issued the show cause notice after seeing that Tareque Sayeed was not among the accused and ordered that others be sent back to prison,’ he said. The next hearing was scheduled for Dec 1, he added, according to bdnews24.com.
