Saturday, 3 May 2014

Police are raiding the house of Nur Hossain, the prime accused in a case of abduction and murder of seven men including Narayanganj City Councillor Nazrul Islam in Narayanganj. Inspector Moinur Rahman of police’s special branch said they started the raid around Saturday noon at Nur Hossain’s residence at Shimrail under Siddhirganj police station in Narayanganj. Nazrul’s wife Selina Islam Beauty had filed a criminal case of abduction against Siddhirganj unit Awami League Vice-President Nur Hossain and General Secretary Haji Md Yasin. Hossain refuted the allegations but he and Yasin have avoided appearing in public after the abductions and killing of the seven people. “We are raiding Hossain’s house as he is an accused in the multiple murder case,” said Inspector Rahman, according to bdnews24.com.
