NGOs hold anti-corruption seminar

NILPHAMARI, June 26: Five NGOs of Nilphamari and its neighbouring districts organised a seminar here recently to create awareness among people against corruption and to ensure accountability and transparency in the government.
LN Rokey presided over the seminar, while correspondent of The Financial Express Abu Musa Mahmudul Hoque was the chief guest on the occasion.
Ratan Sirkar presented the keynote paper at the seminar.
Funded by US Aid and Progati, Nilanchal, Onneyson, VDO, Seba and Rupantar jointly organised the seminar.
Addressing the seminar, the participants laid emphasis on creating mass awareness among people to eliminate corruption from the society with a view to building a prosperous Bangladesh.
