NIAEP - ASE wins Russia\\\'s ‘Company of the Year 2013’ award

Russia's state nuclear power engineering and construction company NIAEP-ASE wins special nomination award "For Engineering services market development" at the "Company of the Year 2013" awards ceremony held in Moscow recently. The awards were organised by the Russia's biggest media group RBC in cooperation with Russian Federation's of Chamber of Commerce, according to a statement.
"This year is really very significant for us",  said Vladimir Sinitsin, the Vice President of Atomstroyexport after receiving the award, on the behalf of NIAEP-ASE. "This year we have commissioned Buhsher NPP in Iran. It's a unique project, both from the technological point of view and conditions under which the project had been implemented", he added.
"Never before an engineering task of such magnitude of complexity, which involved setting up of modern equipment on twenty to thirty years old foreign structures was performed by any company", he further said.
Vice President of Atomstroyexport termed connection of 1st unit of Kudankulam NPP to grid in India as another significant success. "As of today Kudankulam NPP is the most up-to-date project in the world, from the point of view of design solutions and safety systems", underlined Vladimir Sinitsin.
This is first facility of thermal power, which is being constructed by the United Company NIAEP-ASE, as the EPC Contractor. Significant progress was achieved by the company at nuclear power plant sites in Belorussia and Bangladesh.
NIAEP-ASE introduced use of Multi-D, a unique project management technology for construction of complex engineering facilities, which allows to implement such projects within a time frame, budget and necessary level of quality.  
In this coming year, NIAEP-ASE plans to network its competence and know-how into other industries. "Therefore, if there are plans among the leaders of Worldwide business to construct complex engineering facilities, we will be glad to become their reliable partners", said Vladimir Sinitsin.
Company of the Year is one of Russia's most prestigious annual business awards, which highlights the achievements of fast-growing dynamic Russian companies. Winners are chosen by a special advisory council consisting of government representatives, influential community and business leaders. The award was established in 2002 under the patronage of the Ministry of Economic Development; its laureates get priority status for investment projects.
NIAEP-ASE has signed contract with Bangladesh Atomic Energy Commission for preconstruction phase survey and engineering works of Rooppur NPP.
