Nielsen carries out beach cleaning campaign

The Nielsen Bangladesh team recently carried out a beach cleaning campaign in the Cox's Bazar beach area in order to inspire actions by individuals and the community that will reduce and prevent plastic and marine debris resulting in protection for the Bay of Bengal's marine life, sea birds and the coastal environment. This campaign was an anti-litter environmental awareness project. The goal of the campaign was to raise awareness among citizens in caring for the environment and nature, specifically, the pollution of recreation places such as beaches.
There were approximately 60 employees who attended the beach cleaning initiative. Participants said that they were glad to participate in beach clean-up campaign. Beach walkers were also asked to volunteer and to advise other people to keep the beach clean.
