Niloy Cement Clinkerisation begins clinker production today

Niloy Cement Clinkerization Industries Ltd will begin clinker manufacturing at its factory at Baniargati in Jessore district today (Sunday).
The factory with an investment of Tk 200 million will annually produce 70,000 metric tonnes of clinker annually, first of its kind in the country's private sector, said a press release.
The clinker production by the company will hopefully create a new dimension in the Bangladesh market as out of 68 cement factories, 38 remained out of production due to lack of clinker.
Industries adviser Geeteara Shafiya Chowdhury will formally inaugurate the plant today at the factory premises in Jessore.
The inaugural function will be presided over by Nitol Group chairman Abdul Matlub Ahmad.
Besides, director general of Export Promotion Bureau Faridul Hasan, president of Jessore Chamber of Commerce and Industry Shahidul Islam Milon, deputy commissioner of Jessore Abual Hossain and other businessmen will remain present on the occasion.
