Nilphamari officials given 244 computers

NILPHAMARI, Feb 12: As provided by the government, Nilphamari District administration distributed 244 PC tab computers to different government officials, municipality Mayors and Upazila Chairmen of the district.
Sources said the initiative is a part of building Digital Bangladesh, a priority project of the government. The PC tab computers are being distributed under ICT infrastructure development network being implemented by the government.
Sources said 54 district level government officials, four municipality Mayors, six upazila chairman and each of the six Upazila officials of Nilphamari Sadar, Domar, Dimla, Jaldhaka, Kishoregonj and Saidpur have been given 30 computers separately.
While contacted Nilphamari Sadar Upazilla Chairman Abuzar Rahman said the distribution of the computers would go a long way in smooth and speedy official activities the district.
