NILPHAMARI, Mar 13: A large number of poultry firms have been facing hard days in the district due to price hike of farm inputs including one-day age chicks and poultry feed.
At present a one-day chick is being sold at Tk 50 to Tk 55 by the chicken producing farms whereas its price was Tk 45 to Tk 30 per chick earlier. The price of broiler has also come down to Tk100 per kg. The price of one-day chick of layer poultry birds has been increased from Tk 35 to Tk 65.
