Nilsagar as a tourist spot demanded

NILPHAMARI, Apr 6: People of Nilphamari district demanded historic Nilsagar to be built as a tourist spot and introduction of regular flights of Bangladesh Biman to and from Syedpur airport in Nilphamari.
The demand was made to the Minister of Civil Aviation and Tourism Rashed Khan Menon who visited Nilphamari on the 5th and 6th of April to attend the district conference of Workers Party, arranged in the local Silpakala Academy.
The minister also visited Nilsagar, a famous pond of natural beauty of the region. The demand was made by a delegation comprising Nilphamari Chamber of Commerce and Industry (NCCI) President Abdul Wahed Sarker, Vice president of NCCI Nuruzzaman Bulet, District Unnoyan Forum president Abu Musa Mahmudul Hoque and others.
The Minister praised the natural beauty of Nilsagar and committed to build a tourist spot there.
