Nine get BIEC Insurance Award

Bangladesh Insurance Executive Club (BIEC) Monday presented 'Insurance Award- 2008' to nine personalities for their valuable contribution in the field of insurance.
The recipients are late Khuda Box, late Mujibur Rahman, late AKM Fazlul Hoque, late Golam Maula, late MR Siddiqui, late Mostafizur Rahman Khan, late MA Samad, late Shafat Ahmed Chowdhury and Harunur Rashid, says a press release.
Commerce secretary Firoz Ahmed handed over the awards in a programme held in city's MCCI conference room.
BIEC president A B M Nurul Haque presided over the programme while M A Ali Bhuiya, Mohammad Moyedul Islam and K M Murtaja Ali spoke on the occasion.
