Nitol Group takes lead

Country's first licensed vehicle tracking service provider 'Ntrack' of NITS Service (Pvt) Ltd has registered a good customer response within the country and looking forward to expand the service abroad.
"Since obtaining commercial operation license from the Bangladesh Telecommunication Regulatory Commission (BTRC) last month, about 40 clients other than cars marketed by Nitol Group have installed our tracking devices in their vehicles, chief marketing officer of Nitol Niloy Group Aklim Ahmed told the FE.
The NITS Service (Pvt) Ltd is the sister concern of car importing company Nitol Group.
Mr Aklim Ahmed said the company sees a great business potential in the country and looking forward to overseas markets.
So far we have initiated business negotiation with two car manufacturer companies in India and some other groups in other countries, he added.
"We are providing all round state of the art vehicle tracking services to our customers using a database developed by our own experts based on google mapping service," Mr Aklim said.
The Nitol Motors Ltd is the mother concern of the NITS Service (Pvt) Ltd that has long experience in the vehicle marketing sector. Customers would enjoy the vehicle tracking service assistance from all its 12 installation points across the country, he added.
According to the service details, Ntrack service enables its customers to track movements of his cars as well as can measure how long and how far the vehicle has been driven in a particular time. To protect the vehicle from theft and potential damages, clients can shut down the engine of his car or can be alarmed through internet message or mobile SMS services, prior to any suspicious movement close to the vehicle.
"The vehicle tracking service not only provides absolute security but makes the owner capable of controlling the fuel expenditures as well," the official said while elaborating the service.
Moreover, one can control the speed of his car through instant internet message or mobile SMS if it crosses the optimum speed limit, he added.
