Nizar EI-Assaad new IT director of Banglalink

Banglalink, a leading mobile phone operator in the country, has appointed Nizar EI-Assaad to act as its IT director, according to a press release.
Mr EI-Assaad was graduated in 1992 from the American University of Beirut, Lebanon, with a Bachelor of Engineering degree in Computer Science and Communications.
He has 17 years of experience in the IT industry, last five of which in a telecom environment in Orascom Telecom.
Prior to joining Orascom Telecom, he co-founded and worked as a customer support manager at Anzima in Beirut for 10 years.
Anzima was a leading IT System Integrator in Lebanon.
He also actively participated in the founding of the IT department in Orascom Telecom Bangladesh since 2004, in the role of infrastructure and Operations Senior Manager.
He has been promoted to the position of Director IT, Orascom Telecom Bangladesh Ltd (Banglalink) with effect from July 2009.
