NLI approves 40pc dividend

The 23rd annual general meeting (AGM) of the National Life Insurance Company Limited was held in the city Monday last.
The founder Chairman of the company M Haider Chowdhury presided over the meeting. Vice Chairman Abdul Monem, EC Chairman KM Habib Zaman, director and Managing Director (CC) Azizul Islam Talukder were also present at the meeting.
The shareholders thanked the board of directors for the achievement of the company.
The shareholders unanimously approved the accounts of 2007. The company declared 20 per cent cash and 20 per cent stock (total 40pc) dividend to the shareholders against each share of Tk 100/-.
