No alternative to modern, quality edn: Experts

Experts at a workshop in Rangpur have said there is no alternative to time-befitting quality education for building an enlightened society, ideal and dignified nation to make Independence meaningful for every citizen. The Trusty Board of the Prime Minster’s Education Assistance Trust with the assistance of Rangpur regional secondary and higher secondary education office organised the daylong workshop on quality education at Zila Parishad Community Centre in the divisional city. The speakers said a total of over 1,77,773 degree level students will be provided with education sub-stipends this year by the Prime Minster's Education Assistance Trust to assist the poorer section of students in advancing their education. Managing Director (Additional Secretary) of the Prime Minster's Education Assistance Trust under the Ministry of Education Md. Nurul Amin attended the workshop as the chief guest, according to a news agency.
